Upon further examination of our webpage, I noticed that some of the items were running off the page to the right. I also noticed that the section of the banner on the right was appearing gray. Because of this issue, I moved the width of the wrapper items back to 700 which is the widest possible without the gray showing up. If we could find a way to move the AskECO module over to the left it would help, but I don’t see any way to do that and it is probably as far over as it will go.
I agree with Sara’s proposal that we list the choice parts of our reflection papers here. It will help me to write the paper and will help us to share about our experience.
I changed the width to accommodate the wrapper issue. I would like to point out that I use Firefox and the site looks different in terms of the header and catalogue when i check it in IE7 on my son’s computer. Neither looks bad – but the catalog isn’t very nice in IE7. The “Catalog Home”, “Advanced Search” etc are below the Koha Classic logo in IE7, not so with Firefox. Something to think about anyhow…
When I view your site in my tiny laptop using Firefox, the wrappers look good. No horizontal scroll bars, which is key! The wrappers really suck, don’t they? Not a big fan, myself.
